Pushkar Palace
Pushkar Palace is a heritage hotel, built about 400 years ago by the Maharajah of Kishangarh on the edge of the Lake Pushkar. The palace offers a spectacular panorama of the 400 temples, banks, sand dunes and the Aravalli hills. The colorful religious ceremonies conducted on the ghats of the lake, and other lively activities going on can be viewed from the palace. Well equipped to cater to all types of guests, Pushkar Palace is an ideal place to stay especially during the famous Pushkar Fair. Taragarh Fort
The giant fort stands guarding the city. It has six gates. The fort also has Miran Saheb ki Dargah who was the governor of the fort and laid down his life in an encounter. It gives a panoramic view of the city situated in Nagpahari of Aravalli ranges, this fort has immense archaeological and historical importance.
Pushkar Lake
Pushkar lake: It is surrounded by hills on three sides and desert on the other side. The cave of Saint "Agasthya" was located on the snake mountain here. There is one belief that "Kalidasa", the Indian counterpart of Shakespeare, had this place as his locale for his Sanskrit drama, "Shakuntalam". According to a legend, the lake was formed when Lord Brahma wanted to perform a "yagna" here. A temple dedicated to him can be seen here.
Jagat Singh Palace

Brahma Temple
A One of the major thriving temple of Brahma, in pushkar can be identified by its red Spire and By the image of Hans (The swan considered sacred to Lord Brahma). The "Chaturmukhi" (Four Faces) Brahma idol is housed in "Grabha Grih" (WOMB house) which is the sanctum sanctorum. The sanctuary has silver doors inside a carved marble gateway. Steps in the corner lead to a small cave dedicated to Lord Shiva. A beautifully carved silver turtle is set on the floor in the front of the "Garbha Grih". This temple Built with Marbles is Decorated with Silver Coins. The temple walls are also adorned with graceful peacocks, the celestial vehicle of Goddess "Saraswati" (The Goddess of wisdom and Consort of Lord Brahma.). Bramha Temple is alone in the World.
Savitri Temple
Savitri Temple in one of the most renowned one out of 400 temples in Pushkar. According to the Hindu mythology Savitri is the first wife of Lord Brahma. When He was all set to start a Yagna on earth in the place of Pushkar (determined by drooping a lotus flower), Savitri's presence was the prerequisite. But She had kept Him waiting. Lord Brahma, irritated at this, married Gayatri the milkmaid to start the yagna on the most auspicious moment.
Infuriated Savitri cursed that Lord Brahma would not be worshipped anywhere else but Pushkar. Hence you find the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma only inn Pushkar.
Warah Temple
The Warah temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (preserver of the world). King Anaji Chauhan built this temple. The temple has an image of lord Vishnu in the incarnation of a wild boar. The legend has it that Lord Vishnu came took the form of a Warah (wild boar) to kill the demon Hirnayaksh.
Pushkar Cattle Fair
Pushkar Cattle Fair is also known as Pushkar ka Mela, Pushkar Fair, is the world's largest camel fair held in the holy town of Pushkar in Rajasthan. Thousands of people go to the banks of the Pushkar Lake where the fair takes place. Men buy and sell their livestock, which includes camels, cows, sheep and goats . The women go to the stalls, full of bracelets, clothes, textiles and fabrics. A camel race starts off the festival, with music, songs and exhibitions to follow. Between these events, the most waited for is the test of how the camel is able to bring the items. In order to demonstrate, the men go up on the group of camels one after another.
Man Mahal
Man Mahal is a real visual treat for the tourists visiting Pushkar. Man Mahal is described as a dream palace built by Man Singh I. It is an impressive structure and replete with all signs of Rajasthani architecture. This is the largest royal house built in Pushkar. Man Mahal is located on the east of Sarovar, the sacred lake in Pushkar. Man Mahal gives a clear view of the banks of the lakes and all the temples located around the lake. Man Singh was built with a special intention. In fact it was built as a royal guest house for Raja Man Singh I, on his trips to the holy town of Pushkar. At present, following the traditions of global hospitality, this royal guest house has been converted into a luxurious heritage hotel. Hotel Man Singh Palace is presently run by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation. The hotel offers plush accommodation facilities and sumptuous dining.
Pushkar Ghats
The Pushkar Ghat is holy to the Hindus and religious ceremonies are performed simultaneously as camels are being traded. The night at the fairground takes on a Carnival atmosphere. The ferris wheel attracts line-ups of giggling Rajput women in their richly coloured saris and sparkling bangles that stretch from wrist to shoulder. Roadside vendors sell pots, pans, bangles, saris, belts and other various items. Campfires dot the dark desert like bright stars as the evening meal is prepared.
Nag Pahar
This is slightly different attraction in Pushkar. The Nag Pahar literally translates into Snake Mountain. It is believed that originally the mountain had a colossal height, though with the passage of time its height kept on decreasing. It is also believed that one day the mountain will disappear altogether leaving no trace of its existence. The hill has Nag Kund where Vatu, Brahma's son lived after he was cursed for creating mischief by Rishi Chyavan. Even Agastya muni's residence is said to be a cave on Nag Hill. A visit to both this mountain and the Kund is considered extremely auspicious to ward off evil.
Raghunath Temples
Two Raghunath temples adorn the city of Puskar. The old one has the deities of Narsimha, Laxmi and Venugopal in it and was built in 1823. The newer temple has deities of Vaikunthanath and Laksmi.
Panch Kund
Panch Kund is 2.5 Km away from Pushkar towards east direction. The Temple is dedicate to five Pandavas and to Lord Kirshna. The five kunds are called Naga , Surya , Ganga , Padama , Chakra. The temple is less than a century old,but the kunds are ancient.
"Jamadagni Kund" is situated about 2.5 km's from Naukhandi Hanuman on main Ajmer Pushkar road.It is located above the "Devrani-Jethani Baori", in Nag pahad. Naga Arjun Baba is the main priest; who was earlier a magistrate and Judge in Bangladesh. This is the most prominent and lively ashram on the Nagpahar.It is a bit modern temple with over construction and over painted in blues and whites. It is a scenic spot. On the second and third day after Deepawali, The Yamuna River in believed to dispatch its water to the Jamadagni Kund, the bathing here is considered auspicious on those two days.
Ajmer
Pushkar excursion tour is incomplete without a visit to the holy city of Ajmer. Situated just 14 km from the city of Pushkar, Ajmer houses the Dargah (tomb) of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chisti. It is a placed revered by both Hindus as well as Muslims. Apart from that, Ajmer is known for its Ana Sagar Lake, Nasiyan Temple, and the Adhai Din ka Jhonpra.
Kuchaman
One of the well-known Pushkar excursions is Kuchaman. Kuchaman is mainly known for the magnificent Kuchaman fort. Built by the Gujjar Pratihara dynasty, the fort houses the Meera Mahal where you can get a peek into the life of Meera Bai through the miniature paintings. There is also a Lok Dev Temple, comprising some fascinating paintings of Lok Devtas such as Sant Tejaji, Sant Gogaji, Baba Ram Dev, Sant Kesaria Kanwarji, Sant Ravi Das, Sant Kabir, Guru Nanak, Khawaja Moin-ud-din Chisti, etc.
Kishangarh
Ruled by Rathores, the city of Kishangarh is mainly known for its miniature paintings. Kishangarh got renowned as one of the finest schools of miniatures paintings in the 18th century. Under the patronage of Savant Singh, this particular art form reached its heights. It is said that Savant Singh portrayed as Krishna, with Bani Thani (his mistress) modeling as Radha, for the purpose of the paintings. Apart from the paintings, Kishangarh is also regarded as a rich store of marbles.
Roopangarh Fort
Constructed by Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh in 1648, Roopangarh fort has now been partly converted into a heritage hotel. Beautiful architecture and age-old traditions surround the Roopangarh fort. Its medieval stone granaries, royal armories, jails and formidable battlements leave you yearning for more.
