Gagron Fort
The groundwork of this glorious, impregnable fort started in the 7th century and was completed in the fourteenth century. Gagron Fort is balanced on a low crest at the union of the rivers Kali Sindh and Ahu. Water of these rivers encircles the Gagron Fort on three sides. And there is a deep ditch on the fourth side of the fort. Gagron is one of the rare forts which is surrounded and protected by both van and jal (forest and water). The Mukundara hill ranges lie behind Gagron fort. There is a valley with the width of three miles nearby Gagron fort surrounded by a forest resonating with screams of the peacocks and parrots. A small temple inside the Gagron fort has the idols of Durga, Shiva and Ganesh are erected there. There is a Dargah (Mosque) outside the fort where an annual celebration takes place on the eve of Moharram, New Year as per Islam Calendar. Saint Bhagat Pipa Ji monastery is located close to Gagron Fort.

Jhalawar Fort And Government Museum
Jhalawar Fort is a beautiful monument located at the center of the city. It is also known as Garh Palace. The Jhalawar fort is rich in architecture and art. The architecture of the fort is marvelous and magnificent. Garh palace is an example of the great antique ethnicity and tradition of the place. Garh palace now domiciles Collectorate and other district head offices. This fort looks like rocky externally. However a visit to the interiors of the fort makes one feel out of the world. A part of the fort known as Zanana Khas houses a small Government Museum with lovely paintings, gold coins, Ardhnarishvara Natraj statue, old statue of Vishnu and other Hindu gods. Many more small idols excavated from the land of Jhalawar are also on display.

Ren Basera
Ren Basera is a beautiful wooden cottage situated on the banks of Kishan Sagar pond. It is only 6km away from Jhalawar towards Kota. Ren Basera wooden cottage was initially built by the FRI (Forest Research Institute) of Dehradun.

Chandrabhaga Temples
The Chandrabhaga River is 7 km from Jhalawar. The temples existing on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River are known as Chandrabhaga temples. Shiva and Ganesh Temples are among them. Chandrabhaga temples are rich in architecture, arched gateways and craftsmanship. Chandrabhaga event/fair held on Karthika pournami is very popular and well attended. Karthika pournami is the full moon day in the month of November. Numerous devotees gather at Chandrabhaga River during Karthika pournami festival to take a blessed bathe in this River. The culture, trends, traditions and services of the local Rajasthani people can be observed during this time.

Temples Of Jhalara Patan
Jhalara Patan is also known as City of Bells and is 6km away from Jhalawar. Because of its numerous temples and their bells in that place, Jhalara Patan is named as City of Bells. A sole feature about this town is that the whole township exists within the borders of a barrier. This barrier was built to protect the trade group. Jhalara Patan was one of the junctions of the trade route. In Jhalara Patan one can visit Surya Temple, Shanthinath Jain Temple and Padmanath Temple.

Bhim Sagar Dam
Bhim Sagar dam is situated 24kms away from Jhalawar. The Bhim Sagar Dam is a picnic spot. The dam shows the glimpse of Rajputs.

Bhawani Natyashala
Bhawani Natyashala is a beautiful auditorium built during 1921. Bhawani Natyashala is close to Garh palace in Jhalawar. It was built for the purpose of Dance performances and cultural events. Bhawani Natyashala has a very different and beautiful architecture inside of the auditorium. Its exclusiveness exists in the fact that it's deep dais with its underground construction permits the horses, and chariots to appear on dais. Bhawani Natyashala is one of eight such deep dais theatres in the world.

Prithvi Vilas Palace
Prithvi Vilas palace is a beautiful building constructed in 1912 AD. Now it is a private domicile of ex-ruler's family. Prithvi Vilas palace has a rare compilation of wildlife. The palace has an amazing view. Prithvi Vilas palace has an extraordinary architecture and interior. The Prithvi Vilas palace has a three sided well-designed doorways. These three entrances state that monogram showing humbleness and politeness the house of prosperity. Prithvi Vilas palace is situated in the center of Jhalawar.
