Anantapur
Anantapur is a city and a municipal corporation in Anantapur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the headquarters of the Anantapur District, and is the second largest district in India after Ladakh (district in the state of Kashmir). Anantapur is the hometown of former President of the Republic of India, Shri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy.

Anantapuram is located at 14.68° N 77.6° E. It has an average elevation of 335 metres (1099 feet).
